Saving parameters in DocBook transformation

Hi

I have edited project DocBook parameters by selecting one of the defaults (DocBook HTML - Chunk), pressing the "Edit" button, and changing the values of the parameters in the new "DocBook HTML - Chunk - Copy" scenario.

I have spent some time tweaking the parameters to get the output exactly how I need. If I press the "Remove" button I will lose this work.

What the simplest way for me to save or export/import the parameters in case of mishap or if I want to transfer them?

Thanks

John

Hello,

The easiest way to save a transformation scenario's parameter customizations is even exporting the entire scenario.

Exporting a transformation scenario for the document currently opened in oXygen, is made possible from the "Configure Transformation Scenario(s)" dialog, available either from oXygen's menu Document > Transformation > Configure Transformation Scenario(s) or from its corresponding icon in the Transformation toolbar.

Once in the transformation scenarios configuration dialog, you should just right-click on the specific scenario (or scenarios) you need to backup and choose "Export selected scenarios" from the contextual menu.
After saving the resulting file, you could import the scenarios whenever needed at a later time in a similar way, choosing the "Import scenarios" action from the same menu and pointing to the file you saved at the previous step.

I hope this helps and let us know whenever you need any other information.

Regards,
Costin
