abbrevlist

Sorry for rather silly question, but I cannot find any useful information about <abbrevlist>. How is it generated/used? What is content of this element? How is it related to <glossary> and <abbreviated-form>?
Unfortunately, I can't find any example

Hi,
Here's what the DITA 1.3 specs has to say about it:

The publishing does not seem to perform some special behavior for it, in a way it's a topic reference which could be customized further maybe.
Maybe you can ask around also on the DITA Users List, see if others are using it and for what.
