DITA Prolog Updater Not Working

Hi,

it looks as if the DITA Prolog Updater add-on is not working in my Oxygen version 22.1, build 2020072902.
The settings all look OK to me. I've restarted the application and I've restarted the computer - to no avail.
The prolog entries are not changed when I save the topic, even though the "Enable automatic prolog update on save" option is activated.
Is there anything else that I need to set?

Best,
Christina

Hi Christina,

Could you give me more information about the problem?
Is your document new or is an old one?
If it's old, do you already have the prolog information into the document? Could you try with a new topic?

Best regards,
Cosmin

Hi Cosmin,

My tests were on existing old topics that contained prolog information.
I've now created a new topic. Only my user name is inserted correctly, but the created and revised dates are not added or changed.

Thanks,
Christina

Could you verify the "Set creator name", "Set created date", "Update contributor names" and "Update revised dates" options from the preferences page of the plugin? All of these options should be checked.

The author with the contributor type and the "revised' element are updated when the document is old. If you close and reopen the newly created document, a contributor and a revised date should be added after a save operation.

Could you send me the old document on the following email address: support@oxygenxml.com? If you want to hide the content from it, please make a copy of the file and use the "Randomize XML text content" action from the "Help>Support Tools" sub-menu to change all the text content from your topic.

Thanks,
Cosmin

Hi, I'm having a topic show the error "the prolog was not updated," and there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the error. Thoughts?

Hi,
Could you validate the topic and tell me if it has any errors?
On which page did you invoke the save action, Author or Text? Can this topic be opened on the Author page?

Regards,
Cosmin
