Image wizard injecting unwanted path information into the href value

When I use the Image Wizard feature in a DITA topic, I frequently simply paste in or type in the href value instead of manually navigating to the image and selecting it. In Author 20.1 and previous, this worked. In version 21.1, when I try to use that workflow, the image wizard autopopulates the full local path to the currently opened topic in front of the value I paste, breaking the link. Is there any way of turning off this autopopulate?

Hi Jeff,
I tried with both Oxygen 21.1 and 22.1 and cannot quite reproduce the problem.
Can you possibly send us (
support@oxygenxml.com) a small movie or animated gif showing how you are working on your side? Also do you happen to have any extra add-ons installed in Oxygen?
