Hello,

I am facing an issue of having equal spacing between the steps even though i am using same tag structure for both.
Please help insolving this issue like by suggesting CSS for arrangement of space between the steps. I want both cases to be equal spacing between the steps please help in acheiving this.

I am usign DITA with CSS transformation.

Hi, I cannot reproduce the problem. Please check your customization CSS, maybe you have set a min-height that matches the steps. To test this, please add some text to the first item in the second case, and see what happens when the text wraps on multiple lines. If the space disappears, then probably there is a min-height set in the customization. If not, please post a sample topic showing the problem and the customization CSS.

Many regards,
Dan

Hello dan,

Thanks for the reply.
But i am finding the second case only after insering an image in the middle of steps.
Sometimes we want give image at the start and sometimes it will after some steps in the middle.
There are two ways i am trying to insert an image.
1. Using a stepsection tag and insert image. When i am following this method i am getting more empty space like almost the step section is moving to the next page leaving the current page empty.
2.Using Info tag and insert image this case i am finding the which has been shared as a screen shot.

Thank you,
Manohar.

One easy way to determine what causes the spacing and fix it in the CSS is to use the CSS inspector from the browser. The procedure is explained here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... ng_the_css

If you still have problems please create a sample zip package with the DITA map, customization CSS, the tasks, and the images . You can then send it to us using the support form: https://www.oxygenxml.com/techSupport.html

Many regards,
Dan
