Hi!

How can the following be accomplished?

A topic is profiled for two products so that the text in the topic is the same but the images are different. No problem: profiling with ditaval files.

But...this topic is used in two places within the same document. Is ist possible to have a different profiling for the same topic in the same document without creating two separate topics?

If you are using the DITA 1.3 standard this can be done in two ways:
1) Branch filtering:

2) Key scopes (if you use an image keyref to refer to the image):
