Webhelp responsive - custom image on home page

We have some new users moving from classic to responsive webhelp. They would like to add a custom image to the home page like they were able to do for classic webhelp using the first topic in the DITA bookmap.

Is there a way to add a custom image to the webhelp responsive home page using a publishing parameter? We are using Astoria to publish to responsive webhelp and we don't want to create custom templates for each modality.

I tried to use this parameter:

10- webhelp.fragment.before.toc_or_tiles
Specify an XML fragment (or a path to a file that contains well formed XML content) that will be displayed before the table of contents or tiles in the main page of the output.

I'm not sure of the syntax to use to specify an xml fragment that just includes in an image file reference that either points to a file in Astoria, or an resource image included in the DITA bookmap.

Thanks,

Leroy

Hi Leroy,

You could add custom HTML fragments in a well-formed XML file which you could use in one of the html.fragment parameters, as you already figured out.
Here you can find details on how to add such fragments.
Then you should copy the additional resources (like the custom image) to the output folder, following the instructions also from the User-Guide - just follow this link.

I hope this helps.
