Starting last week my team noticed that we cannot sign in to our SharePoint repository through O365.
We are currently receiving this message:

Code: Select all

Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in.

AADSTS700016: Application with identifier '3b721cf1-3914-4ee8-a7d1-831102ea51f1' was not found in the directory '8ac76c91-e7f1-41ff-a89c-3553b2da2c17'. This can happen if the application has not been installed by the administrator of the tenant or consented to by any user in the tenant. You may have sent your authentication request to the wrong tenant.
Please provide guidance, as nothing on our end has changed recently.

Hello,

Thanks for reporting this problem. It was a configuration problem with the evaluation deployment on our website. It should now be solved.

The deployment on our website is intended for Evaluation purposes only. To avoid such situations in the future (and from a licensing point of view) you should install Web Author on-premise and configure the Sharepoint application yourself [1].

Best,
Cristian
