Skins for WebHelp Plugin Output

Hello,

I have a few questions about WebHelp Plugin output.

1. Does the plugin include the same alternative skins that are offered in oXygen?

2. If so, can they be customised using your skin builder?

3. If not, is it possible to use the oXygen skins as is with the WebHelp Plugin output? Do they have to be tweaked in any way?

4. Just for confirmation, which transformations are possible with the plugin? The oXygen client lists 5 WebHelp transformation types (Classic, Responsive, Classic with Feedback, Responsive with Feedback, Classic Mobile). Are any of the others possible with the plugin (XHTML, EPUB, etc.)?

Cheers,

Eddie

Hello,

Please find my answers below:
1. Does the plugin include the same alternative skins that are offered in oXygen?
Yes, the skins offered in oXygen are also available in the WebHelp Plugin product.
2. If so, can they be customised using your skin builder?
Only the skins for the WebHelp Classic output can be customized using the skin builder.
There is no skin builder available for the WebHelp Responsive output.
3. If not, is it possible to use the oXygen skins as is with the WebHelp Plugin output? Do they have to be tweaked in any way?
You can use the oXygen skins as is.
All WebHelp transformation types (Classic, Classic Mobile, Responsive, with or without Feedback) are also available in the plugin. For other types of output (XHTML, EPUB, etc) you should use additional DITA-OT plugins.

Alin
