SuiteHelp integration in Oxygen XML Author

Hi,
I am trialing both the SuiteHelp and Oxygen WebHelp transformation engines to determine which best suits our needs.
I would like to integrate the SuiteHelp engine into Oxygen Author but when I run the transformation it is not building any sub-maps.
I have a root map with multiple map references inside.
Is this a known issue with SuiteHelp in Oxygen?
thanks in advance,
Ann

Hi Ann,
So you tried to integrate the Suite Help plugin in the Oxygen bundled DITA Open Toolkit distribution, right?
Were the steps you performed similar to these one?
https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... lugin.html
Before running the integrator did you make sure that there is full write access allowed in the DITA OT folder?
You could check if the Suite Help works for a simple DITA Map (without any submaps). If it works for that but it does not work for a more complex project, you should probably ask them about this.
Regards,
Radu

Hi Radu,
Yes, the SuiteHelp transformation works for a all parts of the DITA Map other than the submaps. It appears to ignore them.
I will try SuiteSolutions again for advice on why this is happening.

Ann

Hi Ann,
Sure. If you have Oxygen 17.0 you can go to the Preferences->DITA page and always enable the DITA OT console output.
Then after the transformation you can take the entire content from the "DITA OT" console view and possibly attach it to an email for SuiteSolutions, this may help them identify the problem.

Radu

Hi Radu,
Thanks so much for your advice

.
From that I could see that the value for variable
was incorrect.
It is now transforming all submaps.
Thanks again,
Ann
