Ctrl-Alt-UpArrow/DownArrow

Hi, all;

I'm a Flash Builder user, so I'm used to a certain set of keyboard shortcuts working. The shortcuts in Oxygen are slightly different, which is ok with me.

However, there's one I really miss, which is to be able to press Ctrl-Alt-Uparrow (or Downarrow) to copy an entire line of XML. This would be a really convenient feature, especially since Oxygen doesn't really recognize a single XML element as a collection for pasting into in Grid view unless you have at least two rows.

Ctrl-UpArrow and DownArrow work as I expect, to move the line up or down, so it seems we're pretty close to having this already. Is it possible there is another shortcut that does this on Oxygen, and I'm just not seeing it?

Thanks;

Amy

Hi,

Someone has already requested this feature here on the forum:

I've added your vote for this.

Adrian

Thank you for doing this for me. I hadn't seen that :)

I upgraded to 15 specifically because I thought that by now such a simple and obviously useful feature would of course have been added by that time. I'm really disappointed that this feature wasn't added, as the only thing that this version adds to my work flow is the way the recent files are listed is slightly more legible.

Hello,

We have developed a small plugin called Duplicate Lines that accomplishes what you want.
You can install it using Oxygen's add-on support (Help->Install new add-ons) from our update site:

https://www.oxygenxml.com/InstData/Addo ... teSite.xml
Start Oxygen and check in Options > Preferences > Plugins if the plugin is recognized.

The shortcuts are Ctrl(Command on Mac OSX)-Alt-UpArrow/DownArrow, as you would expect them to be.
If they do not work, go to the Oxygen Preferences->"Menu Shortcut Keys" page, search for the actions "Move up" , "Move element up", "Move down", "Move element down" edit their shortcuts and remove them, then restart Oxygen.

Regards,
Adrian
