Storable Find/Replace-Settings

Hi,
it would be nice to have an option to save/load the Find/Replace dialog settings, especially for complex regex expressions by a name/short description to execute them in a window like the transformation scenarios (for often used searches/replacements).
Thanks,
Patrick

Hello,
What do you think about the history feature for both the find and replace fields(the buttons with the clock icon) from the Find/Replace dialog?
Or do you want this in a different context?
Regards,
Adrian

The history feature is great but it is overwritten very fast if I try variations of my current expression or search other things in the meantime.
Actually I use a text file and copy/paste the expressions but it would be nice if I can pin/store these expressions permanently in oxygen.
Advanced wishes of this feature would be:
- share the expressions (through project settings)
- apply a set of search expressions at once
... but this is not so important

Hello,
A generic solution which a lot of Oxygen tools/features could benefit of is to allow the history items to be pinned(preserved at the top of the history list).
I'll add your comments to our issue tracking tool. Your requests will be analyzed and if found appropriate they will be implemented in a future version of Oxygen.
Regards,
Adrian

I would second this request. This could be very helpful for me as well.

Hi,
are there any news about the pinnable history feature request?

Patrick

Hi,
This request is currently scheduled for v14.
Something very similar(favorites/pinned expressions) has already been implemented for the XPath Builder, so this will also most probably be implemented in v14.x(either v14.0 or one of the minor versions).

Adrian
