Would be nice to be able to see a HTML file in browser mode, rendered, inside oXygen.

Oxygen is a Java application so the most it can do out-of-the-box is present the HTML file in the internal Java HTML browser/renderer(which is pretty terrible). But my guess is what you want is Internet Explorer or another native browser. While this is possible it would be pretty messy.
We'll see what we can do. I'm adding this to our issue tracking tool.

You can always open the current file in the system browser: Document -> File -> 'Open in browser'
