Hello,

in my document there is the sentence broken into two lines. If it is necessary to find this sentence, a standard means fails as there are couple of spaces between last word of the first line and the first word of the second line.

It would be nice if searching could be optionally performed on 'normalized' document so these cases would be covered.

Hi,

Right now this feature is scheduled to be implemented in Oxygen 12.2 which doesn't have a fixed release date yet. The good news is we're getting close to the release of 12.0, so 12.2 isn't that far away.

Just to update this thread, in Oxygen 17 we added in the Find Replace in Files dialog an extra checkbox called Ignore extra whitespaces.

It is great that this feature is available but is it possible for a "ignore extra whitespaces" option to also be available on the standard Find/Replace form, not just Find and Replace in Files. It would spare me the task of having to explain the difference to my editors which is not that clear.

As an updated, we released Oxygen 22.1 which should have this checkbox available also in the Find/Replace dialog.
