CSS3: Printing Functionality

Hi guys,

It would be great if <oxygen/> included a print function which can print XHTML+CSS3 to include features like:

content: leader('.') target-counter(attr(href), page);

At present the only way to achieve this is with a program called Prince (which is rather expensive).

Many thanks,
Lea Hayes

Hi Lea,

Thanks for the feedback.
We registered your request in our internal issues tracker.
For the moment Oxygen supports only namespaces from CSS3 so we also need to work to support more CSS 3 features.
Having a PDF generator from the XML + CSS is also a good idea.

Radu

Hi

Out of interest, has any progress been made on this in newer versions of Oxygen? (I am still using 10.3)

Many thanks

Hi Lea,

Sorry but we discussed this improvement request and this is not one of the directions in which we want to take Oxygen in the future.

Radu
