Menu Shortcut Keys - XML Editor

Hello,

I just purchased XML Editor 10.0. I think it's wonderful, however, I've spent years training my brain to navigate and edit using VI commands and after having used it a bit, I feel the increased efficiency provided by the Editor is lost by my inability to efficiently (and without frustration) navigate and edit a document.

Perhaps this is already possible and if so please accept my apology and advise to RTFM. If not, is it possible via plug-in development or otherwise to add capability to navigate/edit XML Documents using VI commands?

Would you consider adding limited capability to the Editor's Keyboard shortcuts such that I could efficiently navigate and edit an XML Document without moving my fingers from the keyboard's home-row? For example:

j = down
k = up
h = left
l = right
i = insert (edit mode)
Esc = move cursor (navigate mode) using j,k,h,l
/ = search (Find)

Many thanks in advance,

twfey

Hello,

There is a subset of the VI shortcuts implemented in the editor panel like delete word, cut word, delete to end of line. I added your request for implementing the VI shortcuts for navigation in the editor panel to our internal system.
