It would be incredibly helpful if Oxygen would automatically limit its Search-and-Replace functionality to the selected line(s) only whenever the user opened this dialog with lines selected.

For people who don't like this, a simple toggle could be provided in Preferences.

We assumed that the selected text is the search text so we set it in the Text to find area and we keep the whole document as the search scope. We will consider setting the scope to Only selected lines when there is more than one line selected in the editor panel.
