Oxygen XML Forum

Hi,

when I start oXygen the window heigth is maximal, the window width is about 4/5 of the maximal width. When I maximize the window, then close oXygen, and then start the tool again the old window size (4/5 of the screen width) is used again.

Maybe I missed something. Is there a facility to force the tool to maximum window size or to remember and reapply the last used window size?

Hi Manfred,

It should remember the window size if it is not forced closed. Please change also some other option like the bakground color for instance and see if it remembers it after a restart. Let us know.

I did a regular File->Exit. oXygen did not remember the last maximal state.

I changed the background color to yellow. This worked, .i.e., after restart the background was still yellow.

I run oXygen under SuSE Linux 9.0. Maybe it has something to do with the file permission. I installed oXygen as root. Here is a ls listing of the tool directory:
