I use a lot of time the refactoring feature in oXygenXML to "Surround with
Tags..." some part of my text.
Sometimes I need to apply several times this modification, so I would like
to use the shortcut : cmd-/ (on a Mac), but it doesn't work.

Somewhere in oXygenXML I saw another feature using this shortcut (but I
can't refund it). Is it possible to change the other one to make the
refactoring shortcut working ?

Hello,

The action Surround with with the shortcut Cmd + / on Mac OS X repeats the last action Surround with Tag. It can be applied in any editor panel where the action Surround with Tag is available. Cmd + / is the default shortcut but you can change this shortcut in Options -> Preferences -> Menu Shortcut Keys, the action name Surround with, the category XML Refactoring.

What do you mean it doesn't work? Did you apply it after applying the Surround with Tag action and it did not surround the current selection with the same tag?

HI,

Sorry to answer so late but I was out of internet connection for a long time.

I saw the shortcuts preferences and "Surrond with " shortcut was "meta slash" which is the same shortcut as for "Start Content Completion" in content completion category.

And there's no meta key on a Mac. :-)

Now I've change the "surrounding with" shortcut and it works perfectly. Thanks for your help.

Hello,

'Meta' is a generic name. On a Mac keyboard the Meta key is in fact the Command key.
