Is there a way to open an image file in editors such as Photoshop and Illustrator directly from the Project View in Oxygen Editor? If there is not, this option would be very handy.

If you right click any file in the Project view you have the option "Open with->System application". So for images for example, if they are associated by default with a certain editing application, the "Open with->System application" action will open that editing application.

That works as-advertised. What I was hoping for was a way to select which system application to open the image with. In Windows, only one default system application can be assigned to a file type, but I frequently need to open an image in photoshop or illustrator. I can do this from explorer, but I'm trying to find ways to work exclusively in an Oxygen project, and this is one issue that I haven't found a way to accomplish from the project view.

I'm afraid our Project view does not have all the features of Windows Explorer.
If we manage to improve on this in a future version we'll update this forum thread.
