Make working sets a global option?

Hello,
I was wondering if it could be possible to make the working sets a global option? We have one xpr file that is used by all authors, and at the moment, the working sets can only be saved in that file. I think it could make sense to save working sets only on a per-author-basis, because we don't share all the image files , for example, among all projects.
But maybe I misinterpreted the idea of the working sets.
Thanks,
Christina

Hi Christina,

If you mean the working sets used in the Oxygen "DITA Reusable Components->Media" tab, in the Oxygen Preferences->"Project Level Settings" page there is a "Save DITA media working sets at project level" checkbox which can be disabled, then you save the preferences and commit the project.xpr file (which will be modified) to the Git Repository.

Radu

Hi Radu,
Thank you so much for the quick reply. Great that there is this extra preference! There was not hint to that preference on this help page
https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... ts-dlentry
A note would be great here, or at least it could say that the working sets can also be saved globally if you disable the option.
I didn't expect that there would be another setting for this in the Preferences so I did not search for it. Thanks for the hint!
Best regards,
Christina

Hi Christina,

I agree, I will change to this definition "Configure working sets" in the topic something like this:
Use this option to define folders where the media resources will be gathered. The Media tab will include audio, image, and video resources collected from the current root map as well as media resources located in the folders defined as active working sets. The working sets are defined at project level so that they can be easily shared with others. To save working sets in the global user-specific settings instead, in the Preferences->Project Level Settings page you can uncheck the Save DITA media working sets at project level checkbox.
