Option to ignore xml:space=preserve on pretty-print

Hi,
I do a lot of work with WordML documents from MS Office, and they're all on one line, with xml:space set to preserve. I use Oxygen's Format and Indent on them, but first I have to edit the XML to remove the xml:space=preserve.
It would save me some time and a lot of annoyance if there was an option I could set to always ignore xml:space=preserve.
