The tag locking in oXygen is nice, but it would also be nice to have a "lock all" feature that would prevent any changes to the open file without actually making the file read-only at the filesystem level.

Ideally, this state would be saved somehow so that the locked text status is the same between sessions. Possible a project option.

I am not sure when it is useful. Why don't you make the file read-only or change the owner in the filesystem if you don't want to modify it accidentally ?
