xml:space autocomplete

I have just noticed that one some elements where xml:space is a valid attribute, it doesn't appear in the autocompletion drop down list, whereas xml:lang does.

I am not sure about the actual rule, but I think it is along the line of "unless additional attributes are forbidden by the XSD or DTD, xml:space can be specified on any element".

I wouldn't mind having xml:space appear in the attribute drop down, as I have started putting it all over the place, particularly on xsd:documentation nodes.

Thanks

Hi Franck,

If xml:space should appear in an element then the DTD or schema should accept that. There is nothing special about this attribute wrt validation against a schema or against a DTD.

George
