Balanced Selections

Is there a feature in Author that enforces that selections are tag balanced so that the selection would be a valid general parsed entity? This is a feature of Arbortext that our writers can't find in Author.

Hi Steve,
Indeed Oxygen allows you to select content in any way you want. Once you copy the content, Oxygen will make it wellformed XML so that when you paste, you never get a broken XML document.
Could you give me a precise example on this? We do have an internal issue registered for this and having a precise use case for this would help.
