Open file in Windows Explorer / Finder

I frequently want to go to the place where a file is - this would be so much quicker if I could do something like right-click on the filename and choose "Open in Explorer", rather than manually navigating the path that is shown in the status bar.

(This is a general complaint of Windows really but until Microsoft makes it a standard feature as per OS X, perhaps Oxygen could have its own command much like Adobe Creative Suite applications do.)

Hello Jamie,

If you are using the stand-alone oXygen, then you can use the Show in Explorer action from the contextual menu shown on an editor's tab.

More info: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... -menu.html

The same action can be also found in the contextual menu shown on a document from the Project view.

All the best,

Thank you for the information! Seems my ancient version (13) doesn't have the command when right-clicking on the tab but good to know it will appear if/when my IT dept updates the software!
