Auto-set for JVM under OS X

It would be nice if there was some mechanism for setting the JVM for oXygen on first launch. This way, the default VM would be selected rather than defaulting to 1.4*.

J2SE 1.50 is coming for OS X and I imagine anyone who uses Java apps will be installing it.

At the least, this (the need to edit info.plist) should probably be part of the README for OS X.

Hi David,

We could not find a mechanism to use from a Java application. In version 6.2 Info.plist we will specify 1.4+ so if your set your prefered JVM version to 1.5 on your Mac machine using Applications - Utilities - Java - J2SE 15 - Java Preferences (drag the 1.5.0 list entry above the 1.4 entry) <oXygen/> will use that. You will not need to edit Info.plist starting from version 6.2.

Best regards,
Sorin

Cool, that sounds like a reasonable solution.
