Is there a free framework for S1000D documents?

Kind regards

Hi David,

At some point in the past we started a minimal open source project on the Github for creating an oXygen framework to provide S1000D editing support:

https://github.com/oxygenxml/S1000D

The S1000D schemas are not included because of licensing issues, they do not freely license the schemas for redistribution, but a user can freely use the schemas, so you could get the framework and then download and place the schemas in the "XML Schema package" folder.

But this experimental editing support does not include publishing.

Regards,
Radu

Hi David,

We have set up an S1000D framework for oXygen which can be retrieved from this GitHub repository : https://github.com/Amplexor/oxygen-asd-s1000d . Don't hesitate to provide feedback, suggestions or issues.

There's also an ATA 2300-compliant framework for your operational documentation : https://github.com/Amplexor/oxygen-ata-2300
