I am getting the following error when trying to process a large docbook xml using built-in fo processor to PDF:

SystemID: null
Description: E The process ended with code : 1 The error was : Exception in thread "main"

Is it possible it's just running out of memory?

I can transform ok to html and chunk..

I have successfully transformed to pdf with smaller documents...

Dear Dennis,

You can set the memory for FOP from the Options->Preferences dialog on the XSLT/FO--FO Processors page using the Memory available for the built-in FOP option. Please try setting that to a larger value (default generally means 64Mb).

George, Thanks!!! That fixed it... I raised the FOP memory setting to 150Mb and everything is working!!
