Linux Install

First, let me say <oXygen/> is just the tool I was looking for to help me learn XML document development. I'm still on the trial license but I intend to change that soon.
I installed on Linux (SuSe 9.1 Pro). My Lunux install (oxygen.bin) was to /usr/local/bin as root. I selected that location because it is in the PATH for my normal user accounts (I have two accounts that I use commonly). My question is: should I have installed <oXygen/> in my normal user's bin? What directory is the recommended location of the <oXygen/> application files on Linux? I shouldn't have to install in each users bin directory - right?
