(Tool)Views locations lost after restart of oXygen

Hi,

I don't know what it is now. Every time I start oXygen 12.2 it opens the dummy project and the last opened files but it forgets the windows locations and sizes. Because I am working with 2 monitors one holds the outline view and the editor and the other views are placed in two diffent windows on the other monitor.

But after each new start of oXygen it is all inside of the main window. :(

I think I remember that there was a time when it was working and the views remembered their locations.

Does anybody knows if there is a setting that is suddenly in wrong state or something else?

Bugsearching greetings

Reiner

Hello,

This could happen indeed, if you have a fixed layout that oXygen loads every time it is started.
Using a fixed layout overrides the layout you have configured and used in the last session.

You can check if you have a fixed layout set, by going into oXygen menu Options > Preferences > Perspectives layout.
In case a fixed layout is selected, in order to keep the customized layout you want to use, you should:
- either enable the "Use default layout" option in the right side of the Perspectives layout menu, then customize it as you wish and oXygen would remember your layout settings every time you start it,
- or go into oXygen menu Window and Reset Layout, customize it as you wish and then save it, from the same menu Window > Save Layout. All you should do next would be to go in the preferences page described above (Options > Preferences > Perspectives layout) and choose to use a specified fixed layout and choose the layout file you've just saved.
