typing in reverse

Whenever I type an & or a : (or possibly other characters) the editor reverses the direction I am typing so that I end up with ;pma&. I'm not sure what oxygen is trying to do for me here or how to disable this behavior.
I am using the latest oxygen under Eclipse.

Dear griffima,
We can't reproduce the behavior you are describing. Does this happen also in other types of editors (text, Java, etc.) ? Are you editing the file with the <oXygen/> plugin ? When you type a '&' character do you see the content completion popup displayed by <oXygen/> ? Maybe a screenshot is useful to determine what is the problem.
