DITA "Validate and Check Completeness" Command Line

Hi,
I'm using <oXygen/> to author some document in DITA.
I always do a following task before build the document:
[DITA map] menu > [Validate and Check Completeness].

I'd like to make the building process automatic.
(Validate) => (Build)

My question is:
Can I do the task[Validate and Check Completeness] from command line?
e.g)
> Validate XXX.ditamap

I don't know if <oXygen/> provides command line environment or not in the first place...

Thank you

Hi Shingo,

Sorry, but we do not provide a command line tool for performing "Validate and Check for Completeness" on a DITA Map.
But we will discuss this as an improvement request.

Radu

Hello,

the "DITA Map Validation and Completeness Check" is a great function. We would like to invoke it from Jenkins CI to hook it on a commit. Will this be available soon? Is it available via the Java API?

Best regards
Harald

Hi Harald,

Unfortunately we do not have the "Validate and check for completness" action available as a command line tool.
We do have some plans to look into this in a future version so if we make this decision I will update the thread with details.

Radu

Hi,

Oxygen 18.1 which we just released allows you to run the DITA Map validation from an external script:
