Can user-named and floating license be used on Oxygen applet concurrently?

We plan to use floating license on an oXygen applet. We already have few Oxygen license keys in the department and just wonder if we can use user-named and floating licenses in a hybrid model against applets. Thanks in advance.

Hi Kevin,
Basically when building the Applet Java sources you can give no licensing options to the applet (no floating license server details).
When the user navigates for the first time to the web page where the applet is embedded a license registration dialog should appear:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-oxygen/ ... ation.html
and the user can choose either to enter his license key (and a license key for XML Author or XML Editor should also be good enough to license the applet) or to configure a location for a license server (or servlet). Basically these are exactly the same licensing options you have when running a standalone version of Oxygen.
After the user has chosen his details, they will be saved persistently and the next time the user uses the applet, he will not be asked again of the licensing details.
Regards,
Radu
