Oxygen XML Forum

All of our images are in .tif format. I realize out of the box the Author tab will not display them.
I've seen some other posts relating to this. I read the instructions to install the JAI plugin, and did that. I installed jai-1_1_2-lib-windows-i586-jre.exe to the to the jre which resides inside of the Oxygen install. I still get the message
"Unsupported image type for: .....<path>filename.tif See the help documentation for workarounds."

Any suggestions to resolve this problem?

Hello,

Please note that you have to install Java Advanced Imaging(JAI) Image I/O Tools, NOT the Java Advanced Imaging API.

You can find the latest version of JAI Image I/O Tools here:
http://download.java.net/media/jai-imag ... lease/1.1/

For Windows you'll need:
jai_imageio-1_1-lib-windows-i586-jre.exe

When prompted to choose the location where to install it, choose the jre folder from the Oxygen installation folder.
e.g.
C:\Program Files\Oxygen XML Editor 13\jre
