bookmarks disabled

Hello,
I've just installed 12.2, to find that the bookmarks menus in the edit menu are disabled. Neither can I create bookmarks with F9, nor with ctrl-shift-1 etc. I can, however, create a bookmark by clicking in the left margin. But navigating to bookmarks created in that way does not work: ctrl-1 has no visible effect (and the menu is disabled).
I've looked for a way to enable bookmarks but did not find it. Nor could I find anything on the board, nor with Google. Obviously I am doing something wrong, but what?
I'd appreciate some help.
I run Ubuntu 11.04.
Yours,
Joop Ringelberg

Hello,

Please note that the bookmarks are disabled in the XSLT/XQuery Debugger perspective where the breakpoints(red bullets) take their place.
So, first make sure you are in the Editor or Database perspectives(Windows -> Open perspective -> Editor/Database) where bookmarks are enabled.

Adrian
