Adding multiple files in data source explorer?

Hi, All:

I am desperately trying to wean myself from Dreamwevaer, and hoping that Author will do the trick. What I would like to be able to do is drag and drop from my file system (Mac OS X) to my WebDAV server using the Data Source Explorer.

I can do this one file at a time, choosing add resource: but that's cumbersome. When I try and drag and drop files, a line shows up in the data source explorer showing where the file ought to be, but it never actually gets uploaded.

Is there a solution to this?

Thanks in advance for any info,

Michael

Hello,

Unfortunately the drag and drop support(when available) from the Data Source Explorer is limited to operations within the same connection inside the view. You cannot drag and drop files to/from outside of the view.

Additionally, when using the "Add resource" action, the native file chooser provided by the Java VM on the Mac is limited to a single file at a time.
We've already worked around this limitation in the current development stream and it will be available in v12.2. An "Add files/resources" action was added to the contextual menu which allows you to add/upload multiple files.

Regards,
Adrian
