I just started using oxygen 4.2. When I debug an XSLT stylesheet, I have the stylesheet, xml document, and the result of the transformation all shown at the same time. It looks like the transformation worked perfectly. Then if I go to another window, and come back to oxygen a few minutes later, the screen is mostly background color, with only about 20 percent of the original contents intact. If I move the mouse over some of the screen, especially the main menu and toolbars, they re-appear but most of the original contents of the screen does not re-appear.

Has anyone heard of this problem? I will send a screen-print to tech support.

Hi,

Please make sure you are using Java 1.4.2 (Help->About -- System Properties -- java.version).

AFAIK this is a Java problem and we had similar reports some time ago. If I remember well a workaround is to minimize and then maximize the application.

Best Regards,
George

Hi George,

I just checked, and I am using java version 1.4.2_04. Minimizing and re-maximizing does not correct the problem for me.

Hi Glenn,

The latest JVM is 1.4.2_05, you may try that as well.
Also another thing will be to try reducing the maximum memory you give to oXygen. By default it is set to 256Mb. See http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-oxygen/ ... cript.html for details about how to do this.

Best Regards,
George
