Hi,

got Oxygen up and running, but got an odd effect on one machine - whenever i try either open an external document (via URL) or validate against an external schema, i get an error that this isn't reachable (when opening i get 502: Bad Gateway, when validating i get "Description: schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document 'http://schemas.opengis.net/sensorML/1.0.1/sensorML.xsd', because 1) could not find the document; 2) the document could not be read; 3) the root element of the document is not <xsd:schema>."

Odd bit is that i can access all the schemas via browser from this machine. on the other ones it works without a problem. any insights as to what's wrong?

Hello,

It is an HTTP server error code. When you try to open the URL from Oxygen a proxy/gateway server that is used to access the final server (the one with the resource specified in the URL) received an invalid response from an upstream server that it accessed to fulfill the request. Did you set an HTTP proxy server in Oxygen from Options -> Preferences -> HTTP(S)/(S)FTP/Proxy Configuration? If yes please check that proxy server.

If you want to get the same result in Oxygen as when accessing the URL from the Web server please check that you access the URL through the same network interface and the same proxy server as from the browser.

Thanks! while the proxy server i have configured in my browser didn't work, telling it to use a direct connection did! makes life much easier!
