Lost menu in menu bar

Hello,

I've mysteriously lost my menu in the OS X menu bar. I know only have one menu item, "Oxygen." All other menu items, "File," "Edit," "Find," etc., are now in the Oxygen application window. I restarted Oxygen, and my machine (OS X 10.6.2), but the problem persists.

Here's a link to an screen shot illustrating my problem: <http://img.skitch.com/20091216-1f71x2hi ... i9sbef.tif>

Thanks for any help.

John

Hello,

From the attached screenshot I believe that the 'Look and Feel' setting has been reset to 'Metal'. To fix the appearance you must go to Options -> Preferences -> Global option page and change the 'Look and Feel' setting back to 'Mac OS X'.

I'm guessing this has happened after the update to the latest Java VM from Apple. To avoid other potential issues that may arise from this Java update please download the latest build (2009121610) of Oxygen 10.3 from:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/software_archive.html
or Oxygen 11.0 from:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/download_oxygenxml_editor.html

Regards,
Adrian

Adrian,

That fixed it. Thanks. I am using 11. Not sure how this setting got changed. I certainly didn't do it intentionally, and I was not in preferences any time recently. But it's fixed now. Thanks again!
