Automatic backup file extension

Hi,

I wish Oxygen would support Unix-style backup file naming convention where the file name ends with "~" instead of ".bak". The issue here is that, although one can change the "bak" extension to anything else, the "." is added anyway, so I'm ending up with files in ".~". Better than .bak, but not perfect.

By the way, this default of .bak is a bit annoying for SVN users, since .bak is not part of the default "global ignores".

Cheers,
Benoit

We will consider setting the extension without ".".

You can add any extension in Syncro SVN Client in option Application global ignores from menu Options -> Preferences -> SVN.

Still no change after almost 2 years. It doesn't seem so difficult to implement, though.

Hello,

It's not the complexity or the difficulty of the problem that's stopping us to implement this but the lack of time. There are many other issues that receive higher priority and as a result improvements like this get pushed back. I'm afraid we still don't have a fixed scheduled version/date for this.

Adrian
