problem with jpeg files

I don't know what I did wrong, but ever since I installed oXygen, it thinks it is the default viewer for all Jpeg files. If I double click any jpeg file in any folder on my computer, oXygen launches itself and tries to open the jpg file. How do I correct this?
In fact, my "oxygen.exe" file actually has a jpeg icon beside it. ??
(Running Win98SE)
Thanks for any help,
Susan

I suspect you did a right click over a jpg file and associate it with oXygen (using "Open *.jpg with Oxygen" entry).
In order to correct it, you should go over any file having jpg extension, right click on it and choose "Open with/Choose program .." entry. You will get a list of possible programs to use when double click on a jpg file. Choose one that's fit for you.
Stefan.
PS: Pay attention to extension name, some files use jpeg and other files the short form jpg.

Stefan,
I tried a right-click, but problem was that I didn't get the "Open with..." option. However, from your post I realized I could change the file association through Explorer/View/Folder Options (i.e., delete jpg and jpeg file types and start over). Sorry to be so dense. Thanks for the help.
