A quick Q and comment.

I may have missed it, but there doesn't appear to by any mention of the JAI package from Sun and the fact that it's required to publish pdf documents with images using fop. I think youre documentation should mention it and provide instrutions on where to get it and how to install it.

My Q... Is the JAI package bundled with the Oxygen/VM package? If not, the download packages from Sun are provided for the JDK and the JRE. Which one should I install?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

The JAI library is not bundled with <oXygen/> due to Sun's licensing. We will specify that in our User Guide and will include instructions about downloading and installing it.

The CLASSPATH version of JAI is better because you can place the jars and native libraries in any directory and you don't have to install a JDK or JRE before installing JAI.

Best regards,
