transparent mode

How do I insure the transparent elements in transparency view are blurry and unreadable?

Do you mean the "transparent" property from CSS? Is it related to the Author mode of oXygen?
Or is related to the action that changes the transparency of the markup in the XML text? (The last button from the "Edit" toolbar..) There is a known issue regarding blurring of the markup in this case, when using the subpixel antialiasing on Windows. To avoid this effect, you can change the oXygen seting: Options/Preferences/Fonts/Text antialiasing from "DEFAULT" to "ON".
