Hi Forum,

We have customized the oxygen layout View using .layout file(export Layout
file ) it contain only Attributes,elements and Dita Map Manager but these
days my writers are found that,when ever we are taken the add ons/project
updates and relaunch the oxygen Custom Messages window is displaying.
some time if we are open certain files Custom Messages window is opening
but i am 100% sure, we are not included the Custom Messages window in my
.layout file
could you please help on for how to hide the Custom Messages window ?

Hi Kondala,
From what I know Oxygen does not have a side view named "Custom Messages". Is it possible this is a side view shown and handled by one of your Oxygen plugins?

Thanks for your quick response.
I am talking about this custom message ,
as per my knowledge we don't have any control for handling the custom message in my plugin,could you please suggest if there any approach or suggestion to handle it.

Hi Kondala,
This "Custom Messages" side view is not in the base Oxygen application. It is a side view contributed probably by your own Java based Oxygen plugin which was probably copied from one of the sample plugins which we made available:

So maybe you can remove from your Oxygen plugin this side view. Please check also in the plugin.xml, it defines an ID for the side view.
