Search Reference Failure

Hi,
I want to locate where some keys are resued using the function of "Search References", but it seems that this function does not always work.

The version of software I'm using is V26.0.

When I right-click the keys displayed in "DITA Reusable Components“ and select "Search References", it sometimes works but sometimes not. However, when I right-click the keys displayed in "DITA Maps Manager“ and select "Search References", it always fails and pop up "No references to "key_name" were found". Also, when I use it in a off-line environment, it doesn't work.

Is there any restrictions using this function? Or what did I do wrong?

Hi,
Are you using Oxygen with a content management system? Plugins installed in Oxygen may alter its behavior.
You should also double check that the "DITA Maps Manager" "Context" combo box properly refers to the top level DITA Map.
I worked a bit with local disk resources and defined keys in the DITA Map, right clicking those key references and choosing "Search references" seems to work for me.
Maybe you can try to put together a small sample DITA project exhibiting the problem and send it to us with some precise steps to reproduce it.

Thanks, Radu. It was because I didn't select the right the root map in the "Context" field.
