Project file .xpr order of scenarioAssociation-array

Dear Syncrosoft Team,

in my project we use a oXygen project file and some folders in our SVN to distribute frameworks and transformation scenarios. Now I realised that often there are some changes to the project file just by using it, e.g. when:
  • I open a file that has a transformation scenario associated,
  • go to configure transformation scenario and
  • enter the dialog for editing the scenario
  • do not change anything but exit the editor by clicking "ok"
  • the scenarioAssociation will be written moved to the first child position of scenarioAssociation-array
This results in a changed project file, although there are no real changes to the contents (only to their order). This is extremely annoying in combination with SVN if there are some substantial changes coming in server side because it will result in a conflict an the project file might get unparseable due to the svn diff entries and consequently a support call from my (no techie contributors ;-)

Can you provide my with a solid workaround or solution for this? Or are there any chances to fixing this beviour? (maybe it's already fixed in v24?)

Many thanks in advance,
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

Maybe in the Oxygen Preferences->"Project Level Settings" page you can uncheck the setting which states that transformation scenario associations should be saved at project level, in this way this would become a user-level choice and no longer influence the XPR state.
Once you make changes to the "Project Level Settings" page these changes are project-related settings are saved automatically in the XPR file.
