Cannot Use code templates in oXygen 7

To whom it may concern,
I have recently upgraded from oXygen 5 to 7, and I can't use my favorite feature: code templates.
I used to be able to press "CTRL+SPACE" and the code templates would come up below my cursor, kind of like tag insight. But I'm not sure how code templates work now, and the documentation is unhelpful.
I also notice that there is a new feature (I think it's new) called "learn words" (in the Tag Insight > Features) that uses the "CTRL+SPACE" shortcut. I looked in the shortcut menu to see if I could change the shortcuts, but I didn't see anything.
Even without the keyboard shortcut, I'm not sure how to insert code templates quickly and easily.
Anyway, how do I get code templates to work like they used to?
Thanks,
Rene
