Setting upload permissions

Hey: I can't seem to figure this one out (caveat: I'm no power user). Using Ox6.1. When I save a new xml file directly to a URL, in the process of uploading the program automatically sets certain permissions. I'd like to change these settings. (Or is it getting permissions instructions from the remote server?) In various FTP programs, you have the option to change and specify your own upload permissions. I've looked around quite a bit on oXygen, its help, the website, and have come up empty. Any clues? Or would this be a feature to request in upcoming versions? Thanks for the help --

Hello,
When a file is saved to an URL on a remote server the file permissions are set by the server (FTP, WebDAV). Specifying the file permissions in <oXygen/> is a feature request for a future version.
Best regards,
Sorin

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that we implemented changing file/directory permissions in the FTP browser tree.
You right click a node (file or directory) then a dialog appears showing the current permissions for it and you can choose the new permissions and apply.
This will of course only work if the server supports this SITE command.
The enhancement will probably be available in the next maintainance version.
Regards, Radu.
