Oxygen 19.1 Dec. build on Windows 10 is crashing randomly. Environment includes MS Visual Studio Express 2015 running but files I'm editing are local. What else do I need to provide to identify what I can do to prevent this?

In what way is it "crashing", does it get stuck/hang or does the application windows close unexpectedly?
Do you get a crash report dialog when this happens?
Please send us the crash report from within that dialog so we can investigate.

Hi Adrian,
The problem has gone away but the next time it occurs, I'll capture the crash report, if I get that option. However, as I remember it, the only dialog I get only allows me to close the application after Windows searches for a solution.

The Windows troubleshooter (search for solution) dialog doesn't help us as it doesn't provide a useful crash report for a Java app.
If it does crash (as opposed to hang), you should eventually get the Oxygen crash report dialog.

Last steps you performed in the app and OS prior to the crash are also useful, as it's actually the Java VM that usually crashes.

Hi Adrian,

I've been encountering this very same error with Oxygen 19.1 the application will randomly crashes (as in window closes unexpectedly). I'm on Win 10. I've the crash error logs where am I supposed to send them?

You can send/submit the logs either:
- by email to support@oxygenxml.com
- on the Technical Support form from our web site (file attachment is at the bottom).
